Who Needs Working Safely At Heights Training And How Often?
Doing anything at heights comes with an increased risk - risk of falls and falling objects - and can lead to serious injuries.
Heights extend beyond surface levels; they encompass areas within structures, including both above and below ground. If you need to work in a setting where there is a potential falling risk, then this course is for you. You might be in construction trades, resources or maintenance and be needing to work around roofs, fragile surfaces between floors, up ladders or on platforms or even down in a pit.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations indicate that compliance and duty of care exists where there is a risk of falling from one level to another. So, if your business operations include activities which are conducted at height, work-appropriate training would be required for compliance with regulations such as WHS.
Refreshing your Working at Heights training is recommended every 2 years - and this course is an optimal way to do so.
